Refund, cancellation, and rescheduling terms for Magnolia Field Business Advisory engagements — coaching, workshops, and destination reviews.

Overview

Magnolia Field Business Advisory Pty Ltd provides professional advisory services, not physical products. This policy explains refund eligibility, cancellation terms, and rescheduling for our coaching sessions, workshops, and destination strategy engagements.

Operator coaching sessions

Cancellation by client:

  • More than 48 hours before the scheduled session: full credit toward a rescheduled session or full refund if requested
  • Less than 48 hours before the session: no refund; one rescheduled session offered at our discretion
  • No-show without notice: session fee forfeited

Cancellation by Magnolia Field: Full refund or rescheduling at your choice.

Block bookings (four sessions): Unused sessions in a prepaid block may be refunded pro-rata if cancelled before the first session. After the first session is completed, remaining sessions are credited toward rescheduling only.

Shoulder-season planning workshops

Cancellation by client:

  • More than 21 days before the workshop date: deposit refunded minus a $350 administration fee
  • 8–21 days before: deposit forfeited; balance not charged if not yet due
  • Less than 8 days before: full workshop fee payable; no refund

Rescheduling: One free date change with more than 21 days notice. Subsequent changes incur a $250 rescheduling fee.

Cancellation by Magnolia Field: Full refund of all fees paid.

Destination strategy reviews

Before work commences: Deposit refundable minus a $500 scoping fee if you cancel after accepting the scope but before kick-off.

After work commences:

  • If you cancel after kick-off, the deposit is non-refundable. Fees for work completed to date (calculated at hourly rates specified in your scope) are payable.
  • If Magnolia Field cancels, you receive a refund of fees for undelivered work plus deliverables completed to date at your option.

Draft deliverables: One round of substantive revisions is included. Requests for scope expansion after draft delivery are quoted separately and are not eligible for refund of the original engagement fee.

Deposits and payment terms

Deposits secure your booking or project slot. Deposit amounts are specified in your scoping document. Deposits are applied to the total engagement fee and are not additional charges.

Non-refundable items

The following are non-refundable once incurred:

  • Travel expenses already booked for on-site visits (flights, accommodation)
  • Third-party research licences purchased specifically for your engagement
  • Administration fees stated above
  • Completed coaching sessions

Refund process

  1. Email info@portalmagnoliafield.click with your name, engagement reference, and reason for the refund request
  2. We acknowledge within two business days
  3. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method
  4. Bank processing times may add 3–5 additional business days

Rescheduling due to illness or emergency

We treat genuine emergencies (serious illness, natural disaster affecting venue access) case by case. Contact us as soon as possible — we prioritise rescheduling over penalty fees where circumstances are documented.

No-shows

Failure to attend a scheduled coaching session or workshop without prior notice is treated as a no-show. Fees are forfeited as described above.

Work already started

For destination reviews, “work commenced” means the kick-off meeting has occurred or stakeholder interviews have been scheduled, whichever comes first. Analysis and draft delivery fees are calculated pro-rata based on scope milestones.

Purchased materials

Workshop worksheets, report templates, and presentation files are delivered as part of the engagement fee. They are not sold separately and are not subject to independent refund.

Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, contact us at info@portalmagnoliafield.click. Unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation under the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
